Collaboration with UNIDO confirmed
Global Pitch is the global online championship of pitching for startups from all over the world. With one application, startups gain access to many different opportunities. Along with 50+ partners – incubators, accelerators and investors – the host of Global Pitch, DealMatrix, is now happy to announce its collaboration with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organisation). Startups can apply for 5 different categories and there will be a representative of UNIDO in every one of them evaluating the Top 100 startups.
Vienna, April 2018 | In May this year the worldwide biggest online pitching competition will be taking place. Global Pitch is aimed at all startups that are searching for their ideal partners/investors and who want, in a quick and easy way, to introduce themselves to leading people in the European and global startup ecosystem. Applications are accepted until April 22nd, and Global Pitch is pleased to announce their cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (short UNIDO), which has extensive experience in entrepreneurship promotion for young women and men.

One application – many opportunities
Global Pitch aims to provide upcoming startups with an easy exposure to a worldwide network of partners through only a single application in order to enable them to get their idea heard internationally without all the pains of pitching offline.
The 5 categories of the competition are:
- Our Planet (Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Social Impact and Agriculture)
- Our Body (Healthcare, Medical, Biology, Food, Wellbeing)
- Our Economy (Production, Distribution, Trade and Markets)
- Our Information (Data, Ed Tech, Prediction, Consumption and Analytics)
- Our Cities (Smart Cities and Homes, e-Government)
Entrepreneurs for Social Change (E4SC)
Besides many attractive prizes Global Pitch applicants will have the chance to be invited to pitch to UNIDO’s flagship initiative: “Entrepreneurs for Social Change (E4SC)”, a one-year program for young social entrepreneurs to create positive impact, developed by UNIDO and Fondazione CRT. E4SC is a worldwide program with participants from numerous countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestinian territories, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Syria, Tunesia and Turkey. The program aims to support young social entrepreneurs to enhance the skills needed to boost a business idea with a social mission and be a powerful motor of economic development and social inclusion. The participants get exposed to the tools required to start and scale a social business, meet like-minded people and engage with cutting-edge guest speakers and mentors.
